Anatomy of a Lord
No two Lords share a template. Each is a one-time formula in which Body, Time, Memory, Function, Will and sometimes Soul are fused, removed, inverted or displaced until a unique contradiction becomes a creature.
A One-Time Formula of Ruin
The Russian source calls the idea 'a Lord as DNA', but the metaphor is explicitly game-design language, not a claim that Lords possess ordinary biological genetics. Its purpose is to explain why a Lord cannot be designed like a species with stronger and weaker specimens. A race repeats a pattern. A Lord is the failure of repetition: a unique configuration of the Great Cycle concentrated in a single being, with no normal culture, population, offspring or lesser representative to establish what 'typical' would mean.
The design grammar begins with the same elements used to read living peoples: Body, Time, Memory, Function, Will and Soul. In a Lord, several are distorted at once. Body may be fused, distributed or turned into an anchor for laws. Time may run backward, exist outside the being or disappear. Memory may be collective, false or oriented toward a future that has not occurred. Function may behave as contract, parasite or self-destruction. Will can be reflected, absent or distributed across multiple carriers. Soul may be externalized, shared or structurally impossible. These are examples from the source, not a closed menu.
This combinatorics also explains scale. A Lord is powerful not because it has accumulated more generic energy than a lesser monster but because no other entity shares exactly the same arrangement of contradictions. The entire 'load of reality' carried by that formula converges on one point. Older dragon material gives the mechanism a historical shape: dragons were stable vessels of opposed laws, while a Lord could emerge when the balance broke and the answer of Nothing passed through that draconic architecture as an unstable reaction rather than a new dragon.
The present Dionysian age weakens Lords but does not make them ordinary. Personal Time destroys the perfect stability that made dragons incompatible with the human era; Lords survive precisely because they are already unstable. Their old absolute Functions no longer fit the world cleanly, so awakening produces weakened but still catastrophic beings. For the Codex, Anatomy of a Lord is therefore both ontology and encounter logic: every true Lord should force a different question because each one breaks the Great Cycle in a different grammar.
